Thoroughly enjoyable and refreshingly interesting and implementable.

I learnt a great deal out of the two days especially from Bruce’s stories. I walked around and talked to over 40 team members 4-5pm today. Feeling 10 feet tall and that’s actually one of the most enjoyable part of my career with ANZ to date.

As my business coach Lisa challenged me and the beliefs that were holding me back, helped me understand how to use my strengths and talents best, and introduced me to highly practical and effective strategies which we introduced in my business – without taking any unnecessary risks. My life and my business transformed, and I went from struggling to keep my business open to selling it for a healthy profit, starting another business, and retiring. I always felt that Lisa truly cared about what I wanted, and what was important to me. Outstanding.

At Telstra, I engaged Bruce to lead for me a critical review of an operating division within the Telstra Media portfolio, targeted at improving overall business performance through a refinement of the strategy and including customer value proposition, go-to-market execution and post sale customer care.

The output of the review was a number of recommendations, many of which were implemented, resulting in improved product performance, profitability and customer satisfaction scores. Bruce engaged very effectively with incumbent leaders, building trust and collaboration. I would recommend Bruce as a consultant to lead any business improvement project.

Once in a decade a business “How To” book comes along that really breaks the mould, and here it is. Cotterill knows the game and with skill and inside knowledge provides a perfect guide through the pitfalls of management and leadership. The Best Leaders Don’t Shout nails the course … it is a sheer delight. Cotterill has indeed been there and done most of it. His writing is concise and razor sharp and it reads like a novel, a guide book and a mentor to your business ambition. Don’t miss out.

An excellent handbook that reminds us of the distinction between management and leadership. The former is about sweat; the latter is more about vision, strategy and inspiration. Cotterill laces his prose with memorable aphorisms and intelligent reflections.  A very good read for reflective executives and eager students.

Thank you for two fantastic presentations at The Professionals Sales Conference. Each talk was loaded with lots of good practical take away points. It was also fantastic to meet you and speak in person. As discussed, training for real estate sales people is abundantly available whilst as a new business owner it seems training is much more scarce.

Bruce had the difficult job of being the closing presenter at the Rotary Youth Leadership Programme.  From the start he captivated the 30 young leaders in the room, making his leadership points clearly with interesting and real stories. It is amazing to see someone with such an extensive corporate background connecting so well with young people starting out their careers.  Everyone in the room could relate to the messages & there were many.  Outstanding!
