Bruce had the difficult job of being the closing presenter at the Rotary Youth Leadership Programme.  From the start he captivated the 30 young leaders in the room, making his leadership points clearly with interesting and real stories. It is amazing to see someone with such an extensive corporate background connecting so well with young people starting out their careers.  Everyone in the room could relate to the messages & there were many.  Outstanding!

I read a lot of business books and some of them we use as references as we coach executives and professional CEO’s to get incrementally better at their leadership craft. This book is one that will be used as a reference. It simplifies and offers practical advice based on Bruce’s business experience. Most importantly it reminds all of us leading in a complicated world that leadership is all about the connecting with “people” and getting things done.

Lisa delivered her Adapter Factor workshop to a select group of 2degrees change agents. The 1 day course received rave reviews with comments like “it was awesome I was engaged beginning to end”. The process also generated insightful change ideas that could be game changers for our business. I would highly recommend Lisa to your business if you’re serious about building innovation.

We used Lisa and her in depth knowledge in November 2017 at our executive refocus days to review where our organisational culture had got to and where next to go. It was a great experience all round and brought clarity to our thinking. Bravo !

In Search of Accounting’s Future Leaders.

I remember an old wise crack that went like this: Question:  “What’s the biggest change in accounting in the last 40 years?” Answer:  “Air conditioning.” Whilst I think that’s unfair, it illustrates a point that the profession does have challenges aplenty. As the...

Six Simple Steps to get More Women on Boards

I just did a Google images search. I typed “Board of Directors” into the search line. Immediately, as we have come to expect, my screen lit up with hundreds of photos. In this case the photos are of men in suits. They are mostly sitting around oversized tables or standing in line posing for the Company photo. Oh, and occasionally, there is a woman. I then went to my favourite photos site and searched “Women on Boards”. Guess what came up? Surfing pictures.
